The case is particularly sordid. Seven minors placed in the Departmental Center for Childhood and the Family of Eysines (CDEF), in the suburbs of Bordeaux, have been victims of sexual exploitation, at least since October 2021, revealed Thursday evening the Bordeaux parquet.

The affair broke out after the report by the CDEF itself, on December 31, of acts of prostitution of a 14-year-old minor placed in this home. The investigation assigned to the police officers of the pimping brigade of the Unit in charge of the underground economy (Uses) made it possible to establish that this young girl and other residents of the home were “victims of sexual exploitation” indicates the floor.

“Social and Emotional Distress”

The investigations revealed “the involvement of two men who took advantage of the social and emotional distress of these young girls to enlist them in prostitution activities via classified ads posted on social networks, in trafficking activities narcotics. “Seven minors, aged between 13 and 16, have in all been received as having been under the control of these two men since October 2021.

The two suspects were arrested last Tuesday, and brought to the Bordeaux prosecutor’s office on Thursday, which opened a judicial investigation. They were indicted on counts of “aggravated pimping” and “violation of the narcotics legislation. »

“Possibility to get money easily”

The 28-year-old main respondent “initially seduced one of the minors and then encouraged her to beat down other young girls placed in front of the possibility for them to easily obtain money. “He made available his apartment, in Mérignac, “for the realization of sexual services, in exchange for 50% of the earnings. »

He was also discovered at his home 3,830 euros, 320 grams of cannabis resin, 50 grams of cocaine and 65 grams of grass. The other individual implicated, aged 21, is considered an “occasional partner”.

The central office for the suppression of trafficking in human beings observes an increase of nearly 39% in “procuring in the city” – which is characterized by the sexual exploitation of young girls with social vulnerabilities – between 2019 and 2021.
