The Pentagon told how many anti-tank and anti-aircraft missile systems were handed over to Ukraine
After the start of the Russian aggression, the United States and its allies handed over to Ukraine at least 60,000 anti-tank missile systems and 25,000 portable anti-aircraft missile systems.
This was announced on April 7 by the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCC) of the United States Mark Millie at a budget hearing in the Senate.
“They are very grateful for the 60,000 anti-tank and some 25,000 anti-aircraft weapons systems sent by the United States, our allies and partners.” – he said.
Millie added that the United States and its allies are now looking for armored vehicles and artillery systems that Ukrainian servicemen can use without prior training.
Czech Republic decided to provide more substantial military assistance to Ukraine. The country has sent a railway train to Ukraine with several dozen major T-72 battle tanks and infantry fighting vehicles. This equipment helps the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend itself from Russia.
Estonia has handed over another batch of military aid to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to repel Russian aggression. The Ukrainian army received anti-tank missiles, howitzers, anti-tank mines, as well as other equipment and weapons.
