THE BALL – Belgium beats Portugal in Ricardinho’s farewell (Futsal)
Belgium beat Portugal 3-2, in the first of two preparation games for the 20.4 World Cup – the second will take place this Saturday, in Santo Tirso – and which will also bid farewell to Ricadinho from the National Team in Portuguese territory, in this case in Gondomar, the player’s homeland.
The best in the world wore the corners symbol for the time and entered the formation of Jorge Braz, he who had the last time for Portugal to win the World Cup, on October 3, 2021, in a triumph (3-1) against to Argentina. However, the team this year reduced the European, already this team this year.
Belgium opened the scoring, by Steven Dillien, was in a run 1.32 minutes, stage in which it is still played at a very relaxed pace, but already after the goalkeeper Dries Vranken saved two national attacks.
Pany Varela still sent a selection to the iron before Ricardinho raised his ball of goals at the service of the National Team to 142, in his magic stroke with the shield of the Federation to the chest.
The marker marked the 10th minute – Ricardinho’s number… – when the match was signaled for a few minutes for another moment of tribute to the player who now wears the colors of ACCS, France. A huge banner (44 by 17 meters!) with the message ‘Thank you Ricardinho’ was planted on one of the stands, with the player thanking him for the gesture, taking a group photo, receiving greetings from all the participants in the challenge and hand over the captain’s armband to João Matos to finally withdraw…
The match continued without Ricardinho, maintaining a high pace, with Portugal debuting several of their own – Neves, Gonçalo Sobral and Nuno Miranda – and having opportunities to score again, continuing the good actions of Dries Vranken.
The time with the two most emerging formations and with Portugal glimpsing the preparation for the World Cup, putting the focus on preparation in second place of the party around Ricardinho.
At the level e got the level of Belgium and got the tie, in a situation that put Gabriel D’A in a shooting position and you can do the goalkeeper E.
Portugal accentuated the time in possession of the ball and in the attack, but the Belgians presented themselves to the counterattack and in a move of this nature raised the score to 3-1, by Yachou.
Jorge’s answer came immediately and the strategy goes from an advanced goalkeeper (Tiago Brito), capturing fruits with a Bruno Coelho. The other Belgian goalkeeper, Bram Meyers, plus two goals to Portugal in the last minute of the match…
