Description
One of the most beautiful decorative bamboo. The stems are golden everywhere, have evergreen foliage, are completely winter-hardy and spread quickly.
It is smaller (max. 5 m) and has a thinner stem (max. 3 cm) than the basic species, the gold-striped bamboo, so it is also ideal for smaller gardens or pots.
Its stems take on a nice orange hue on a blazing day.
Its buds are edible after cooking.

A plant that propagates efficiently with rhizomes (rootstock) and forms a beautiful bamboo colony in 3-5 years. Because it brings its stems densely, it is excellent for covering and demarcating space. Its spread can be easily limited as it is not rooted deeper than 30 cm. A strong plastic or metal plate should be dug into the ground.

The price is for a globe plant with a 1 meter stem. So a 2 meter high 3000 ft.
In case of personal collection I can also give a height of 4 meters. However, I can only mail up to 2 meters.
Installation is possible all year round, but is most ideal from September to June.
