Czech Railways will extend the connection from Prague to Hamburg to the Danish border
Flensburg will become the northernmost place where Czech Railways trains run.
Czech Railways will extend the EC 174/175 Berliner to Flensburg train with the June timetable change. The city on the German-Danish border will thus be the northernmost point where Czech Railways trains run. He’s still in Kiel.
“In cooperation with our foreign partners, we are constantly trying to expand the offer of attractive connections. From June, he will take the Czech Railways train directly to Flensburg in northern Germany, which is a popular tourist destination and a gateway for rail travel to Denmark and Scandinavia.“Says Petr Vondráček, director of the Czech Railways passenger transport department.
The train will leave Prague for the first time on Sunday 12 June at 10:25 and will arrive in Flensburg at 19:07 in the evening. It will run in the opposite direction from Monday 13 June. The planned departure from Flensburg is at 8:31 am and will arrive in Prague at 5:35 pm The EC 174/175 Berliner will also stop in the north of Germany in Schleswig, Rendsburg and Neumünster. For this connection, there will be cost-effective Early Tickets Europe. The cheapest ticket costs CZK 1,260. It will be a standard set deployed on the EC Berliner, including a restaurant car or a bicycle transport compartment.
In the 2022 timetable, Czech Railways offers direct train connections to Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria and Switzerland. On a daily basis, Czech Railways trains provide direct connections to more than 130 foreign destinations. It is possible to travel to other places with a transfer on the connection of foreign partners.
