Nordin El Hajjioui’s lawyers requested a rebuttal on Monday because they believe that their client, who resides in Dubai, has not been duly summoned. The court may relate to the fact that El Hajjioui is absent, but lawyer Hans Rieder has appealed this. The court allowed the trial to continue. The defense of El Hajjioui believes that should not happen.

After filing the appeal, the court had 48 hours to withdraw its decision. That’s not going to happen, which means the appellate court’s avenging chamber will receive about the request. Until it has been decided, the case cannot go to court.

Earlier this year, Hajjioui’s lawyers also applied for a challenge request against a chamber chairwoman in the round of Frank De Tank’s ‘removal firm’, where ‘Dikke Nordin’ is also one of the main suspects. That request was allowed by the court.
