The lowest pension paid to a current deputy is 2,285 lei per month, being the disability pension that the deputy of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) Victoria Cazacu receives, and the highest is also raised by a PAS deputy, Oazu Nantoi – 25,746 lei per month.
Oazu Nantoi’s monthly pension covers 11 old-age pensions with a full contribution period, which is, according to today’s order, after indexation, 2,278 lei. In fact, the top three pensions paid to Members include 24 monthly old-age pensions.
The deputy Oazu Nantoi declared for Ziarul NAȚIONAL that his pension was substantially increased after the recalculation by capitalizing the contribution stages made after the pension.
“12 years ago, I retired with 3,000 lei. The pension has been recalculated. I worked like a donkey and I paid taxes “, explains the deputy” his record “in the Parliament.
Another record among the pensioners in the Parliament is held by the former communist president of the Republic of Moldova, Vladimir Voronin. The 80-year-old deputy of the Electoral Bloc of Communists and Socialists (BeCS) holds 1,931,662 lei and almost 17.6 thousand euros in the bank. For these amounts alone, Voronin received interest of over 56,000 lei last year, which means 3.5 monthly pensions of his own.

PAS deputy Oazu Nantoi received last year from the Parliament a salary of 213,457 lei and allowances in the amount of 92,514 lei, ie almost 25,500 lei per month.
Another almost 25,800 lei per month or 308,952 lei represented the pension he received in 2021, to which his wife’s income from salary and pension of over 55,500 lei were added.
The Nantoi family owns an agricultural land, acquired in 1996, with an area of 0.0616 ha, but also four apartments, one of which, of 34.6 square meters, was purchased last year and cost almost 700 thousands of lei.
The other three homes are an apartment acquired by donation in 1997 with an area of 58.4 square meters and are now worth 642,340 lei, another apartment from 1981 with an area of 67.1 square meters and a value of 1,203,165 lei , as well as an apartment of 48.7 square meters, obtained in 2011 and costing 775,200 lei.
Oazu Nantoi also declared a “Ford Focus” car from 2016, purchased in 2017 with the amount of 200,000 lei.
The Nantoi family also holds $ 35,442 and $ 2,390 in the bank, which brought them an interest rate of more than $ 570 in 2021.

BeCS MP Zinaida Greceanii, who has held senior positions in the state since the early 2000s, won last year a salary of 247,003 lei and an indemnity of 54,898 lei from the Parliament, ie over 25.1 thousand lei per month.
His pension amounted to 182,119 lei or 15,176 lei per month, which benefited from the state and a nominal allowance of 6,000 lei.
Other incomes of the Greceanii families constituted 4,700 lei from the rent of a plot of land and 44,467 lei, the husband’s pension.
The two Greeks exchanged case and land last year and indicate in the ownership of a land of 0.0921 worth 240,885 lei, an agricultural land of 2,4018 ha, a garage of 54 square meters worth 65 945 lei, as well as a house of 268.4 square meters worth 1,679,170 lei.

Vladimir Voronin, the former head of state, became a millionaire with many properties
Communist Vladimir Voronin won last year 76,921 lei from the Parliament and 175,500 as a pension. His wife’s pension was 23,206 lei, but the most substantial income of the families came from banks.
Voronin earned 466,959 lei from the sale of his bonds to “FinComBank”, plus about 55,000 lei in interest from the money held in several banking institutions.
The former head of state has bank accounts with a total amount of 1,931,662 lei and almost 17.6 thousand euros.
In the year when he ended his term as President of the Republic of Moldova, 2009, several properties were registered in the name of Voronin.
Thus, it can boast today with a land of 0.0655 ha obtained in 1996, with a value of 52,611 lei, another land of 0.154 ha acquired in 2008, as well as with four extra-urban lands registered in its name in 2009 – 0.297 ha, 0.9283 ha, 0.8513 and 1.2429 ha, respectively.
Voronin also has a 122.6-square-meter house since 2008, another 50.7-square-meter house in 2005, a 41.1-square-meter garage acquired in 2003, and a 232.7 square meters worth 1,884,120 lei and which he has owned since 1989.
Vladimir Voronin also declared an “Audi A8” from 2009, purchased in 2017 for 10 thousand euros, but also a “Breitling Transocean Chronograph Unit” wristwatch, worth 117,600 lei and donated to him.
