Norwegian removes the face mask requirement on all flights
Norwegian is satisfied announces that the temporary requirement to use face shields on all flights will be removed from Monday, April 4th.
For the first time since 17 June 2020, the requirement to use a face mask will be removed for each flight on the Norwegian network as a result of the pan-European guidelines.
With countries reducing or eliminating travel restrictions thanks to extensive vaccination programs, travelers can now choose whether or not to wear a face mask.
Since February 12, when demands began to be lifted throughout Scandinavia, the company has seen increased passenger demand and optimism about both leisure and business advance bookings. The company believes travel will recover and thrive in the coming summer months.
Norwegian urges all passengers to check local requirements and guidance at their destination before the trip, including stops and connecting flights in Europe. It is the passenger’s responsibility to comply with local regulations and restrictions. Those who still want to wear a face mask on board are welcome to do so.
