Liechtenstein: Isolation and mask requirements expire at the end of March.

As the government in Liechtenstein has concluded, the detailed measures to contain the Covid 19 pandemic will expire on Thursday, March 31st. From Friday, April 1, there will no longer be officially ordered isolation in Liechtenstein if you are infected with Covid-19. People with symptoms of illness are nevertheless called upon to isolate and test themselves in order to avoid infection. The mask requirement in public transport will also no longer apply from Friday. Healthcare and geriatric care institutions can continue to impose a mask requirement at their own discretion.

In the past few days, there has been a downward trend in the number of Covid-19 infections. Given the warmer temperatures and the seasonal spread of the virus, it can be assumed that this development will continue to improve. The pandemic will not end with the end of the measures, since the virus circulation is still high and the dominant omicron variant can also pose a serious health risk, especially for unvaccinated or older people.

Test road will remain in place for the time being

The test street in the Marktplatz garage in Vaduz will remain open daily between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. for the time being. However, a pre-registration for symptomatic people at the Covid-19 test hotline will no longer be possible from April 1st. People with symptoms typical of Covid-19 should continue to be tested and isolate themselves until they are symptom-free for 48 hours.

Registration for vaccinations is possible once

The Mühleholz vaccination center will continue to exist, especially in the fall, for any further booster vaccinations that are likely to occur. In view of the high level of protection provided by vaccination and the uncertain prospects for the course of the pandemic, the government in Liechtenstein continues to recommend that all people who have not yet taken advantage of the vaccination offer do so.

HOW EUROPE RELEASES

AUSTRIA has completely overturned its unique corona policy in the face of the omicron wave and relaxed despite record infection numbers. The lockdown for the unvaccinated is long history, the planned general obligation to vaccinate has been suspended. All restrictions were quickly lifted at the beginning of March. Since then it has been possible to celebrate in bars again. Epidemiologists are concerned. Nevertheless, the quarantine rules have recently been relaxed, and the free mass tests will be restricted shortly.

“Faster like before” it feels for the people in the SWITZERLAND since most of the corona measures fell in mid-February. The mouth and nose cover only has to be worn in public transport. This bid should also have fallen at the end of March.

Despite the high number of infections, the first nationwide corona protection requirements for millions of people have been in place since March 20th GERMANY completed. To travel by train with Deutsche Bahn, you do not need 3G proof that you have been vaccinated, recovered or have been tested. However, the mask requirement in local and long-distance public transport continues to apply. The obligation to provide 3G access proofs at the workplace has also been abolished – in future companies will be able to define protection concepts themselves. Some states have extended the restrictions. Corona rules have also been relaxed in a row in Bavaria: Among other things, all capacity and upper limits for people for events as well as the ban on dancing and music in the catering trade have been lifted. Until April 2nd, the 2G and 3G access rules and the mask requirement will remain in Bavaria, including in retail.

First Denmark, then Sweden, Norway, Iceland and Finland – all of it SCANDINAVIA has gradually lifted its respective restrictions. There are two main reasons for this: the high number of vaccinations and the milder course of the disease after omicron infections. From the Corona point of view, life north of the German-Danish border is practically free of restrictions, in the center of Copenhagen there is hardly anything left to indicate the ongoing pandemic. In hospitals and nursing homes, however, there are still isolated recommendations for caution. After peaking in February, the incidence has fallen sharply in much of the north. However, in many places there is now less testing than before.

Also the creed in GREAT BRITAIN is “Living with Covid”: Public life is running without restrictions. At first glance, one might forget that the pandemic is not over yet. Even the royals are back in Westminster Abbey with 1,500 people without masks and distance. In Parliament, MPs jostle for seats, just like in pubs. Not even those who have been proven to be infected have to isolate themselves. The government is boasting about its risky course in the omicron wave. However, the infection curve is going up again, and the number of Covid patients in hospitals is growing. At the same time, the country is flying blind: the previously freely available rapid tests will be subject to a fee from April.

in the Czech Republic almost all corona measures have also gradually disappeared, including the 2G rule in gastronomy. An FFP2 mask must still be worn on buses and trains as well as in health and care facilities, but not in retail. The Ukraine war has almost completely pushed the pandemic out of the headlines. The Czech Republic has lifted its corona entry rules for travelers from EU countries.

in the FRANCE has been heard since mid-March: “Finally we can see our faces again!” With a majority of the corona restrictions, many employees are required to wear masks in the workplace. Those who were only hired during the pandemic often did not even know what colleagues without masks looked like. Public life is largely normalizing, even if some prefer to leave their masks on when shopping – even without obligation. After a strong relaxation, the number of cases is picking up again.

The holiday country CROATIA there is a summer season without too many corona restrictions. The measures on the Adriatic are already mild. For entry beyond transit traffic, proof is required that you have been vaccinated, recovered or tested. There are no restrictions for hotel and restaurant gatherings and events with fewer than 50 participants. Mouth and nose protection must still be worn in public transport, in shops and in hospitals. A 3G certificate is required in the opera, theater or cinema. The number of seats is not limited – “sold out” really means that every seat is taken.

travel to GREECE have become lighter since mid-March. Visitors no longer have to fill out a registration form for corona tracking before entering the country. The mask requirement outdoors has fallen. In gastronomy and at events in closed rooms & proof of vaccination or recovery will continue to be shown. Unvaccinated persons also require a negative PCR or antigen test upon entry. Even CYPRUS has made it easier for travelers: vaccinated & no longer do a PCR test after their arrival. The vaccination certificate is enough. Those who have not been vaccinated must be tested before they travel. Travelers still have to register.

ITALY ends the Corona state of emergency on March 31 and abolishes most restrictions. From April onwards, proof of vaccination, recovery or tests will no longer be required in hotels, local public transport and shops. As of May 1st, the certificate called “Greenpass” in Italy will be completely abolished. The quarantine regulations will quickly be completely lifted: In the future, only infected people will isolate themselves, contact persons can leave their home at any time.
