a forest grant to avoid the fragmentation of woodlots
Did you know ? The territory of Greater Annecy has 20,000 hectares of forest, including 11,800 hectares of private forest, for more than 11,000 owners. However, due to excessive fragmentation, the plots often turn out to be unusable and not maintained.
To fight against this phenomenon, Greater Annecy, in partnership with the Regional Center for Forest Property of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (CRPF) and the Union of Private Foresters of Haute-Savoie (UFP 74) is launching a local land exchange . The objective of the device, entitled “The Forest moves”? Facilitate the sale, purchase and exchange of woodlots for individuals.
Four meetings with CRPF technicians are organized to present this system. The first will take place in Duingt, this Tuesday, March 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Charles Polliand room. This will be followed by Alby-sur-Chéran (April 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the Plaimpalais room), Annecy (April 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Eaux et forêt room) and Veyrier-du-Lac (May 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the Salle de la Veyrière).
