Amir in talks with the President of Slovenia
His Holiness Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor held official talks in Amir Diwan on Wednesday afternoon.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them in all areas, especially investment and economic.
They also discussed a number of regional and international issues affecting both countries, including development in the region.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, HE Chief Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani and N.E. Minister of the Municipality dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin The Turks of Al Subaia attended the meeting of the conversation.
On the Slovenian side, the session was attended by the Minister of Infrastructure Jernej Vrtovec and the Minister of the Environment and Spatial Planning Andrej Vizjak.
On this occasion, His Holiness Amir hosted a reception in honor of the President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor and the accompanying delegation.
