Located at 110 Rue des Amidonniers, “Le Gros Arbre” is once again welcoming visitors who come to enjoy a superb setting in the heart of Toulouse. For the occasion, the two partners Sylvain Dennis and Bakul Sorkar already have several ideas in mind…
Open from Thursday to Monday in an atypical setting
This guinguette, which refers by its name at the great cedar of Lebanon multi-hundred-year-old who took root near the premises, settled in a house belonging To the Waterways of France (VNF). It’s in a beautiful setting. near the Bassin des Filtres that young and old meet there to have a drink or enjoy cuisine from local suppliers. An outdoor terrace allows you to enjoy the scenery as well as an indoor room in case of bad weather. Note that you can get there from Thursday to Monday every lunchtime and evening!
A place to meet and share
For the next few weeks, a few projects should see the light of day. With the participation from the Octopods collective, days will be organized where you will be able to exchange with the people present. The goal? Collect memories who will then be exposed to the light of day in the form of photo exhibitions for example. The two partners also wish to organize an encounter with an archivist from Voix Navigables de France to learn more about the heritage of the place. Pop-up musical events should also be announced soon on the Facebook page of this Toulouse guinguette…
