An air of deja vu
The days follow one another and are alike for Paris Saint-Germain. Indeed, the Spanish defender Sergio Ramos will not be traveling against Monaco. PSG have announced that they could resume competition after the international break. We can therefore imagine a return against Lorient on April 3, at the Parc des Princes. In the meantime, still not the slightest trace of Ramos in the Parisian group.
Since his arrival at PSG last summer, Sergio Ramos has only worn the Red and Blue jersey 5 times. He is playing his first match with Paris Saint-Germain against Saint-Étienne, on the 15th day of Ligue 1. Despite a complicated physical situation, the defender wants to honor his contract with PSG until the end. Committed until June 2023, Sergio Ramos does not therefore plan to leave the club during the next transfer window.
Messi also absent?
Sergio Ramos will not be the only absentee to face AS Monaco. Indeed, Lionel Messi is currently in care for 48 hours for a flu syndrome. He had not trained with his teammates this Friday or Saturday. The Argentinian could therefore stay in the Paris region for this meeting. As for the rest of the squad, Ander Herrera will be back after the break as well. Angel Di Maria, meanwhile, will return to racing and return to training next week.
This Sunday, March 20, at 1 p.m., the Paris Saint Germain will move to the Stade Louis II, and the match will follow Premium Video. After the elimination against Real Madrid, the Parisians must win the championship, the last trophy they can win this season. AS Monaco, meanwhile, can still hope to pass Lille and Nantes in order to remember with Strasbourg, currently 5ᵉ in the championship.
