Donation points are being set up across the country, with more and more organizations helping. Several cultural and entertainment venues in the capital call attention to the same thing, as is the case with Budapest Park. Mostly people come here to the park for concerts and fun, but now they can visit here for a very important cause, until March 18th.
Andrea Biczó, the PR manager of Budapest Park, said they wanted some help anyway, and since Budapest Park is not yet open, they have set up this fundraising point so they can collect for refugees.
“We are waiting for durable food at the donation point, toiletries, mattresses in good condition, universal sheets, sleeping bags” He said, adding that his staff, with the help and help of various NGOs, had compiled a list of what was most needed now.
The donations collected will be sent to Kisar on 19 March.
