The State of San Marino donates medical supplies to Ukraine
SAN MARINO – Three pallets loaded with sanitary material were brought today by the staff of the Pharmaceutical Center of the Institute for Social Security, to the Rimini collection center, where trucks carrying aid for the Ukrainian Republic depart every day.
The material donated by the State of San Marino mainly concerns personal protection (PPE), in particular about 36 thousand masks (including surgical and FFP2), almost 600 liters of sanitizing gel and disinfectant solutions for face shields and even 200 masks for oxygen therapy.
The initiative is part of the international cooperation and aid policies that the Republic of San Marino supports and supports in the agreement with international organizations.
On the internal reception front, there are currently over 180 refugees from Ukraine hosted in the Republic, and more are expected in the coming days.
