Belgium’s Goncourt choice awarded to Louis-Philippe Dalembert
Famous Haitian writer, Louis-Philippe Dalembert was named Choice Goncourt of Belgium 2021, for his novel “Milwaukee blues” published by Sabine Wespieser.
Unlike the Goncourt de France 2021, for which Dalembert was in the running, the Goncourt de la Belgique choice is a literary prize awarded by students. They base themselves on the second selection of the renowned Prix Goncourt France to draw the winning novel.
