What luxury items were banned from being imported into Russia and Belarus
The Bureau of Industry and Security of the United States of America has published a list of goods prohibited for export to Russia since March 16, BaigeNews.kz reports with links to RIA News.
IN list about 570 items of individual products. Among them:
- alcohol (in particular, bourbon, tequila, rum, whiskey and champagne);
- tobacco products (in particular cigars and tobacco);
- cosmetics and perfumery;
- women’s bags;
- natural fur products;
- clothing and footwear for the elderly;
- corals, gems and jewelry;
- carpets and other textile floor coverings;
- antiques;
- wood and wood products;
- books, newspapers, photographs and other types of printing industry products (banknotes);
- raw silk;
- ceramic products;
- natural or cultured pearls.
Also stand out will touch electric cars, motorcycles and various objects of art, including concert grand pianos.
The ban will also apply to Belarus. Citizens of the capturing countries detained on the SDN sanctions list of the US Treasury are prohibited from purchasing the above goods, regardless of where they are located.
