This is the latest episode of a “substantial neighborhood conflict that continues”, says a judicial source. A 50-year-old was taken into police custody for threatening his neighbor with a knife on the bus, Thursday March 10, 2022 in Sotteville-les-Rouen (Seine-Maritime).
The police were called around 6:30 p.m. by the wife of the alleged victim. This young man, born in 1992, came to meet on the F1 bus his neighbor, born in 1968, with whom he has had a dispute for several years. The police have thus found traces of a handrail deposited in 2019, indicates our source.
“He pushes his attacker away with his leg”
At the Sémard stop, avenue des Canadiens, the young man turned around and said he saw the fifty-year-old coming towards him with a knife. Our source reports that after “pushing back his attacker with his leg, he ran away”, before returning to his home.
On the advice of a judicial police officer, the agents arrested the defendant. His custody is ongoing.
