Real estate: Genoa in the top ten of the most attractive cities
(ANSA) – GENOA, MARCH 10 – Although in tenth place, Genoa enters the top ten of the most attractive cities according to Knight Frank, a real estate consultancy firm specializing in the luxury segment. The city of the Lantern joins an elite group made up of Rome, Milan, Florence, Lucca, Venice, Sardinia, Pisa, Siena and Lake Como. Genoa is in any case first for sport and free time, seventh for wealth, eighth for history and culture. “Genoa, and the Ligurian Riviera in general, have become very attractive especially for customers – explains Chiara Lagomarsino Picasso, of KF Liguria – in terms of climate, safety, sport and culture. The Riviera, with places like Portofino, but also the Cinque Terre, are increasing in terms of price since 2009 I have been doing this job since 2009 but I have never had a January it’s a February so full of people who want to buy like this year. there are fewer and fewer people who want to sell. Currently we also have cities in Genoa around 5 million euros, independent villas but not only properties, and foreign buyers, who are the majority, are also looking at the city as an alternative for their own residence”.
But it is all of Liguria that is attracting foreign buyers. Beyond the Tigullio it affects the far east with Lerici and Tellaro where there are properties for sale up to 20 million which are being looked at by Scandinavian investors. And there is the return of the French and not only to the west (ANSA).
