Praha TV and TV Brno 1 will end up in the Vodafone TV offer, the operator will probably also eliminate the BBC World News station
The telecommunications operator Vodafone is preparing further changes in its program offer in the coming weeks. In the current newsletter, the customer announced that the regional stations Prague TV and TV Brno 1 would be phased out by the end of March.
“Proper cleaning is part of the beginning of spring, which is why we turned around a bit with Vodafone TV stations. At the end of March, we are shutting down Prague TV and TV Brno 1, “the operator wrote to its customers on Friday, March 4. The executive director of both programs, PÅ™emysl Svora, explained to the Digital Radio portal that the station will disappear from the offer due to the amount of the distribution fee. “Unfortunately, we did not manage to find a match with Vodafone, so the station is on offer,” said Svora.
The elimination of the BBC World News thematic station may also be a significant blow to news channel customers. The operator should have no reason to exclude this station, but even here the program can be assumed that there is a higher distribution fee for the departure of the offer. The customer must require that if the program is available freely on satellite, even in HD, it does not mean that the operator will have it available for free, free of charge.
On the contrary, the children’s station Lala TV continues the offer compared to the original plans.
