A man stole at a hotel in Na Příkopě Street on February 20. He got in by pretending to be one of the guests. In the staff locker room, he seized a universal magnetic card that serves room service. With her, they opened the door to one of the rooms. He stole a backpack with a mobile phone, credit cards and cash. Two guests slept in the room and one of them was awakened by a thief. Immediately afterwards, the man fled. The robbed guest chased him.
“The hotel receptionist responded immediately and managed to lock the main entrance from the thief. She called the emergency line, but even before the early patrol, the man dug up the side entrance and ran away to nowhere, “said police spokesman Richard Hrdina.

The next night, a thief broke into an office building on Vodičkova Street. He took advantage of the side reconstruction of the house, thanks to which he got to the upper floors, where he opened the window and climbed the ladder to the roof of the office. There he kicked open the double doors leading to the seventh floor and gradually broke into several offices. “From here he took the personal belongings of the workers and ripped the screen from the wall, which he left on the roof because he could not carry it down the ladder,” the spokesman added.
In both cases, however, the perpetrators intercepted security cameras. The police identified the recidivist on the records, who had already been convicted sixteen times. But it was not easy to find a thief, he never had a permanent job or residence. Eventually, however, the cage fell. On Tuesday, February 22, the police checked the man who had been sleeping in a car wreck in K louži Street in Prague 10. They found out by lustration that he was a sought-after scumbag.
