Nothing about dear life
Despite what is happening in the world, the government’s total immobility on issues related to expensive life continues. The topic is now becoming one of the main ones on the economic agenda of all the countries of the world and we are no exception. Istat, in January, estimated an annual rate of up to almost 5% on an annual basis, and reported that “the further and marked acceleration of emissions on an annual basis is mainly due to the prices of energy goods (whose growth passes from + 29.1% in December to + 38.6%), in particular those of the regulated component (from + 41.9% to + 94.6%), and to a lesser extent the prices of non-regulated energy goods ( from + 22.0% to + 22.9%), of unprocessed food goods (from + 3.6% to + 5.3%). “. And the news is that these figures do not yet accumulate account of the war in Ukraine and its effects … We see the price at which the fuel has reached it every day at the pump, a boom that was rarely seen with gasoline traveling around € 1.8 / liter. What is the government doing on these issues? Anything! While Italy allocates resources to mitigate the cost of increases in energy and other components that affect people’s daily lives, our Government speaks of justice and is concerned with redesigning the structures of the Court We are very worried about inertia of our political decision-makers on issues that, already today but above all in the coming months, will directly affect the pockets of citizens. And obviously also of companies, which suffer in the same way these increases which directly affect their production costs. The thought that the government has allocated only 4 million euros, out of the 340 million euros of debt, to policies to support the economy (and families) depresses us and how the Executive has no idea what the priorities are. of this historical period. Which are certainly not the ones to continue to have budget holes to die of millions of euros to continue spending and spreading for travel, consultancy, events, etc … but rather to be very strict on expenses and knowing how to allocate the resources to uses ” profits “(investments, infrastructures and maintenance of people’s consumption capacity). We reiterate the proposal to create a fund to calm the effects of the increase in energy tariffs, at least for the weakest part of the population. The enhancement of the Smac Card discounts relating to fuels can be implemented at this stage, also helping to keep consumption high. As far as the economy is concerned, it may be useful to allow the reinvestment of the profits of the companies also for projects for a greater energy autonomy of the company itself, even if these interventions already benefited from other incentives. But there are only 3 proposals, many could be suggested and elaborated. But we must act quickly, with a precise plan and a package of interventions. On which, unfortunately, it seems to us that the government has no idea and is totally inert. And this is a huge problem for everyone.
