Melodifestivalen 2022 Grand Final driving order revealed
SVT, the Swedish national broadcast, has revealed the competition rules for the upcoming Melodifestivalen 2022 Grand Final.
The Melodifestivalen’s big final 2022 is planned to be held on Saturday 12 March at friends Arena in Stockholm with a total of 12 acts fighting for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2022.
Klara Hammarström will open the competition at the same time MEDINA will close the show. SVT has revealed the driving order for the Swedish national final 2022:
- Klara Hammarström – Run to Bergen
- THEOZ – As you wish
- Anna Bergendahl – Higher power
- John Lundvik – Angel guard
- Tone Sekelius – My way
- Anders Bagge – Larger than the universe
- Robin Bengtsson – Innocent love
- Faith Kakembo – Freedom
- LIAMOO – Bluffin
- Cornelia Jakobs – Keep me closer
- Cazzi Opeia – I can not get enough
- Medina – ii dimman

Sweden in Eurovision
Sweden debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1958 and has won Europe’s favorite program 6 times (1974, 1984, 1991, 1999, 2012, 2015) and has hosted the competition three times in Stockholm (1975, 2000, 2016), twice in Malmö. (1992, 2013) and once in Gothenburg (1985).
Sweden has had great success in the competition in recent years, Nordic country has reached 8 TOP 10 places in the competition over the last 10 years including 2 victories.
Year 2021 Tusse won the Swedish national final and flew to Rotterdam with his contribution ‘Voices‘.
