MILAN

Milan and Bennacer close to an agreement

Sugar Mizzy March 5, 2022

The case has been in the works for several weeks. According to the Calciomercato.com site this Saturday, AC Milan is preparing to announce the renewal of Ismail Bennacer’s contract now next week. According to the site in question, discussions between the two parties are progressing well and that a secret agreement has been reached for the extension of the contract for two additional years, i.e. until 2026. Note that the Milanese management is in the process of continue over the weeks the elements that she considers to be part of the club’s project. Little known in Italy when he landed in the summer of 2019 from Empoli, Ismail Bennacer was quick to show his qualities as a footballer. His association with the international Franck Kessié means that with the latter, he forms the duo of the most sought after midfielder in Europe. AC Milan will lose Kessié who will be free next June and who, barring an unexpected return, will join FC Barcelona. Fearing of losing Ismail Bennacer, who, with a release clause set at 50 million euros, could succumb to temptation given that big names, like Real Madrid, Manchester City or Paris Saint Germain, are making him the sweet eyes. Milan officials have moved up a gear in discussions with his agent Moussa Sissoko, who is, remember, difficult in negotiations. But as the fear of losing this summer still hovers, the sports director Paolo Maldini, who has a privileged relationship with Ismail Bennacer, has offered himself to this file. As Calciomercato.com revealed yesterday, both parties have fully agreed; All that remains is the signing of the new contract with, it should be specified, a salary increase (we are talking about an annual salary of 3.2 million euros net), but an upward revision of the release clause, assures- tonne.

Appointment with Napoli d’Ounas tonight

This is the big shock of the weekend in Italy. Tonight, Napoli by Adam Ounas and Faouzi Ghoulam are hosting Ismail Bennacer’s AC Milan in their Diego-Armando-Maradona stadium. The two teams have 57 points each, one point behind leaders Inter Milan, who won their match against Salernititana on Friday evening (5/0). This is to say that the winner of this clash will take the dreams of Serie A. Author of a huge performance last week, Ismail Bennacer will start the match on the field. According to the transalpine media, Stefano Pioli plans to associate him in the recovery with Sandro Tonali and advances a notch Franck Kessié. As for Adam Ounas and Faouzi Ghoulam, they will start on the bench, but they could come on during the game, as has been the case in all previous meetings given by Napoli.

Stefano Pioli: “Isma has a great character”

This Saturday, the AC Milan coach hosted a press conference before the trip to Naples today. Asked about the current form of the Algerian international, Stefano Pioli replied: “After the African Cup of Nations, it is clear that he was disappointed by the elimination of his national team. But Isma is a player with great character and continuity that I expect. He will continue to improve.”
