This Friday marks the return of the great national collection of Restos du Cœur! On this occasion, crossroads is once again committed to the association on March 4, 5 and 6, 2022 in France for the most deprived. For the 15th consecutive year, the sign makes its spaces available to volunteers in the various stores in the pink city and its surroundings.
For three days, the objective is to educate customers to the actions of the association created by Coluche in 1985, but also invite them to donate non-perishable food and of first necessity such as hygiene or baby products.

A goal of 2,000 donations
Last year, the brand’s teams and Restos du Cœur volunteers managed to collect 1,500 tonnes of foodstuffs. “This represents 1 million meals”, underlines the brand. In 2022, the objective is to harvest this time 2,000 tons of products. To enable this collection, volunteers are now installed in the following stores:
- Hypers : Carrefour Toulouse-Purpan and Carrefour Labège
- Carrefour Market : Auterive, Blagnac, Carbonne, Cazères, Colomiers-les Ramassiers, Cugnaux, Levignac, Montrejeau, Pibrac, Pins-Justaret, Rieumes, Toulouse-Lombez, Toulouse-St Michel, Toulouse l’Hers, Toulouse Minimes, Toulouse-Maourines, Tournefeuille .
By the way, Carrefour location encountered free available to volunteers commercial vehicles to transport the collections from the stores to the warehouses of the local Restos du Cœur branches.

A partnership with Danone
As part of this collection, Carrefour also joins forces with Danone each year to support the association with the“product-sharing” operation. It allows tooffer a meal to the associationfrom two Danone brand products purchased (on a selection of products).
This year, the retailers hope to distribute approximately over a million meals to people welcomed by the Restos du Cœur. In total, 1,200 Carrefour stores in France take part in the major collection alongside the Restos du Cœur.
