Russia will put forward an initiative to stop power failures – Economy and business
MOSCOW, 26 February. /TASS/. Russia has taken the initiative to end power outages after identifying the causes of the January outage at sources in Central Asia. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Grabchak on the air of the TV channel “Russia 24“.
“Unfortunately, the general commission (for the investigation of atmospheric phenomena – TASS note) was not created, despite the requests of the Russian side, and in each country <...> identified cases of identification. At the same time, of course, based on the results of the investigation, we will come up with an initiative within our international platforms to discuss the causes of accidents and, most importantly, to synchronize the development of our energy systems in terms of preventing accidents,” he said.
Grabchak noted that the power systems of the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan and Central Asia operate stably in a synchronous mode. According to him, the consequences of failures have been eliminated. He added that on this issue, the Russian Federation clashed with Kazakh participants
