Pisa, February 26, 2022 – Moments of tension in the afternoon in the center of Pisa during a garrison against the war in Ukraine by the movements of the radical Left and some exponents of the Ukrainian community present in the city who had spontaneously joined the demonstration advertised on social media.

The Ukrainians in fact took the floor to «ask the immediate help of NATOWhile some representatives of the left have tried to prevent him. There were squabbles and screams, with the promoters of the demonstration trying to bring calm by explaining that “the nationalists present in Ukraine are themselves part of the problem” in Kiev.

Souls then heated up further and even touched physical contact, before the situation returned to calm while maintaining different positions on the genesis of the conflict. Between those who, like the Ukrainians, denounced “the Russian aggression without justifications by Putin” and those, from the left, who instead sought direct NATO employment in defense of the Ukrainian army. Eventually the garrison, which was attended by over 200 people, was dissolved early and without disturbances.
