(ANSA) – VENICE, FEBRUARY 26 – For the last Saturday of Carnival, a spring sun attracted 98 thousand visitors to the city, at least a third of which had already been in the lagoon since Friday night.
18 thousand Venetians, 27 thousand from outside the region and 53 thousand foreigners. France 21%, Spain 13, Germany 12, Great Britain 10, United States 5 and Austria 4% are the most representative countries of origin.
Parking spaces sold out already in the late morning, many visitors have chosen the train to Venice, with a continuous but regular flow. All the additional lines put in place by ACTV are operational and reinforce with bis races if necessary.
