Verdane invests in resale of used Iphones

Through Verdane Edda II, Verdane has invested in the Finnish company Swappie, which restores and resells used Iphones. The company, which was founded in 2016, has its own telephone restoration plant in Finland and Estonia, and is positioned in 15 European markets, 12 of which have been established since 2020.
Since its inception, it has sold one million used Iphones.
Verdane will support Swappie’s international expansion by drawing on its experience and expertise in technology and sustainability, and helping the company improve its offering to the customer, it states in a press release.
The parties are the only ones not to disclose financial details related to the transaction.
