The father of the Internet Vint Cerf or financier George Soros – but in fact, perhaps everyone who meant something in the world of networks at the time – came to Prague in June 1994 INET’94 / JENC5 conferencewhere the future of the Internet was debated. Our country, which was then connected to the network for a little over two years, thus became the capital of the Internet for two and a half days.

When the Internet connection of Czechoslovakia was born in the 1990s, she worked as a system programmer at the Regional Computer Center in Prague. Before leaving the academic sphere for the commercial sphere, our country’s connection to the Internet experienced the first hectic years when Czech experts learned the potential of using the network. In 1994, she helped organize the annual INET 94 / JENC5 worldwide conference.
