Bugatti describes a new partnership with the Segond Automobiles de Monaco group – 4Legend.com – AudiPassion.com

Sugar Mizzy February 25, 2022

The walls of Monegasque streets resonate with the history of motor racing and the heritage of Bugatti. 92 years ago, in 1929, the iconic Monaco circuit hosted its very first Grand Prix won in unforgettable fashion by the great William “Williams” Charles Frederick Grover and his Bugatti Type 35B. On that day, Bugatti demonstrated the supremacy of the Type 35 by securing five of the first six places at the finish. Since then, this famous narrow and winding circuit has become synonymous with the pinnacle of motor racing. Today, Bugatti is strengthening its ties with the Principality on the Côte d’Azur by joining forces with the Segond Automobiles group.

Jewel of the “French Riviera” and ultimate symbol of European luxury, Monaco has been the favorite place of the international jet set for many decades, steeped in history, tradition and exclusivity. Home to internationally renowned buildings, such as the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo, Place du Casino and the Yacht Club of Monaco, the region is a logical choice for many Bugatti owners. Legendary Bugatti racing driver Louis Chiron was born in Monaco in 1899. Winner of the 1931 Monaco Grand Prix, he gave his name to the brand’s latest hyper sports car which, in 2016, redefined the meaning of performance and luxury in the automotive industry.

With its 33 partners in key markets around the world, the Bugatti network is well equipped to meet the expectations of a diverse and international clientele. Driving a Bugatti hyper sports car allows this same clientele to discover the values of the Bugatti brand and to experience one of the marvels of the brand’s engineering in the showrooms of Bugatti partners.

Bugatti has teamed up with partners who identify with the brand’s philosophy, who are leaders in their fields of activity and who constitute a true extension of the experience offered in Molsheim, the brand’s stronghold. For the Segond Automobiles group, it is the passion for excellence and unparalleled customer service that binds the two parties.

The Segond Automobiles group has been operating in the Principality of Monaco for over 35 years. Present in the region since 1985, the group has grown to form an in-house team of expert salespeople and technicians working with some of the most prestigious brands in the automotive industry.

According to Guy Caquelin, Bugatti’s European Regional Director, “Europe is one of the key markets for Bugatti. It has hosted many of our model launches and customer test events. And of course, it is here in the Principality that some of our closest customers reside. We are delighted to welcome the Segond Automobiles group with a new showroom in the heart of the Principality of Monaco, in an ideal location on the shores of the Mediterranean. With its long Monegasque lineage and its unique knowledge of the market, the group will be able to understand and develop Bugatti’s presence in the region. »

Stéphane Colmart, CEO of the Segond Automobiles group, added: “Passion and motorsport are two founding values of the Segond Automobiles group which make all its shareholders and employees extremely proud to join the exclusive family of Bugatti partners. Our future Bugatti showroom is in one of Europe’s most desirable locations, nestled among luxury boutiques and surrounded by nearly a century of motor racing history. We will have an exceptional location located on the course of the Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit, in the corner of La Rascasse, near the legendary Louis Chiron bend. It is, in many ways, the perfect place to welcome customers of a brand renowned for its ongoing performance and cutting-edge craftsmanship. With a Bugatti after-sales center nearby, we will be able to continue to benchmark the experience of excellence for our Bugatti customers by offering them the ultimate in design, convenience and luxury. »
