The Kenyan model Amani T.* (38) from Milan (I) will not soon forget this party night in Zurich in 2018. After touring various bars and clubs with a compatriot, the two drunk women tangled in T’s car. Fists even flew!
The handcuffs then clicked for the former bunga-bunga playmate of former Italian President Silvio Berlusconi (85). She is said to have choked her opponent in the fight in the car to unconsciousness! She remained in custody for two months.
“I thought she was just playing”
On Friday, Amani T. was therefore in Zurich before the single judge.
“We went through the bars. At 4am I wanted to go home because I had planned to do something with my kids the next day. But she still wanted to party, »says the model in court. “I said no and wanted her out of my car. But she just can’t, that’s why we argue.” At some point, Amani T. was hit in the eye with a fist. “I fought back,” admits the model. The women also tore their hair.
The judge wanted to know why the victim fainted. “I don’t know, but I thought she was just playing it. I also pulled her out of the car. She later said I choked her – but I didn’t choke her.”
No evidence of the choking incident
The judge gave more credence to the statements made by the Milanese woman than to the victim, who did not appear in court. Because the alleged strangled had drunk so much alcohol that they sometimes had a “film tear”. In the police interviews, their descriptions were “little true to life”, as the judge said when the verdict was pronounced. He acquitted Amani T. of the charge of endangering life. “We cannot conclusively determine what happened that night,” the judge said. There is no evidence of choking, not even marks on the neck.
Amani T. now receives compensation of CHF 12,600 for the two months he was unlawfully served in custody.
Amani T. escaped punishment for statements made by Berlusconi
Amani T. made headlines in 2014 for allegedly lying about Silvio Berlusconi. The then Italian head of state had a villa in Milan where he let models, dancers and masseuses live. According to media reports, Amani T. also belonged to the circle of these women.
Berlusconi and his guests are said to have repeatedly had sex parties – the notorious bunga bunga parties – with the young women. Because one of the models, the Moroccan Ruby, was said to have been underage when she had sex with the statesman, Berlusconi was on trial. He was acquitted, among other things. Amani T. also escaped punishment for allegedly making false statements in favor of Berlusconi.
Amani T.: “Never lived in Berlusconi’s villa”
Amani T. says to Blick: “Yes, I knew a few of these models, but I never lived in Berlusconi’s villa myself.” She was relieved about the acquittal in Zurich in the case of strangulation – she would have faced a conditional prison sentence, a fine of 1,200 francs and a five-year expulsion from the country.
Amani T. will be able to make good use of the compensation money from custody: the mother of two has just started a three-year apprenticeship in the beauty sector in Italy. She is currently not taking on any model orders.
