The Cibulka homestead, which will be a hospice, will be rebuilt during the reconstruction
It was clear that we needed to build a new building somewhere in Cibulka, that is, a new building, said Ivan Plechat, the director of the foundation. Ondej Vlek and his wife Katarna, Avast’s anti-virus superintendent. According to Plechat, due to the new construction, it is necessary to change the number of plots of land belonging to the homestead from park areas to a shift function, which can be born. The city council supported the change with an overwhelming voice. Final changes are made by the city council.
Opposition representative Karel Kryl (Pirti) stated that there could be a problem with the fact that the investor has not yet submitted a study of the construction, which is usually required by the master’s committee for earth development. Zuzana Hamanov (for STAN), chairwoman of the city’s development committee, said that an architectural competition had been announced for the design of the building and that the documents could not be published. She said that the results of the competition will be known on the 3rd day.
The director thus stated that there is no risk that something else would arise in the homestead than the declared facility for children with incurable diseases. According to them, the buildings are registered in the foundation’s charter and end up inalienable. It was not possible to transfer the property to a company or other entity, it could be an foundation that would have to meet the original purpose, she said.
The hospice is to be used by children with life-threatening diseases and their families. According to the children, their pleasure has been exhausted and they need so-called palliative life at the end of life. At the same time, according to the foundation’s information, the building will serve the public, and a cafĂ© and clubhouse or a social room for educators, social and cultural events will be built in the town.
The fate of not using the homestead has been with the squattei several times since the 1990s. The former owner of the Oldich Vanek homestead approached the town hall of Prague 5 last year with an offer to buy, but the sweat changed its mind and began negotiations with another tenant. The first Vlkov Foundation proved to be the same. Manel Ondej and Katarna Vlk established a foundation in the world, they invested assets worth 1.5 billion crowns with the aim of building a children’s hospice and a palliative care center.
The wolves follow up the activities of the six-year-old charity organization Zlat rybka, whose mission is to meet the children who have a life-sickly ill. The assets of their family foundation come from Wolf’s Quarter for centuries in Avast, which has since become a globally software company. His wife Katarna is an assistant in the mobile home Cesta dom.
