Russian President Vladimir Putin, during an address to the nation, said that modern Russia after the collapse of the USSR is the most powerful country in the world. Translation must be carried out on a TV channel “Russia 24”.
He believes that no one should have any doubts that this is happening to defeat the attacker.
According to him, the USSR weakened and collapsed in the late 1980s. The head of state said that “paralysis of the will of the transfer to oblivion”. He remembered that it was worth it then for a while “to lose self-confidence … and that’s it! The balance of power in the world has been upset.”
Putin also drew attention to the strict requirements of the United States for external verification – everyone who did not take something is “broken over the knee.”
“Whoever plans to interfere, let alone create a threat to our country, should know that Russia’s response will be immediate. And the situation will lead to such consequences that you have never faced in your history,” the Russian leader said.
Putin has previously stated that decided to approach military special operations to protect Donbass in response to request about the help of the head of the LPR and the DPR.
