Lisbon. Municipal Housing Council was reactivated and had its 1st meeting
ANDIn a statement, the Lisbon City Council indicated that the main objective of the first meeting of the council’s advisory body was “to launch the necessary reflection for the creation of the Municipal Housing Charter”.
The Municipal Housing Council is composed of political forces elected in Lisbon, institutional entities with real estate assets from the sector and civil society and is chaired by the councilor for Housing, Filipa Roseta (PSD).
“With the remuneration of the Council, these agents ensure participation in the design and initiative of the policy that the municipality wants to develop in response to the right to housing (enshrined in the 65th of the Portuguese Republic)”, said the Lisbon Chamber in the statement, indicating that the members of this can issue about projects, initiatives and housing policies for the city that are decoration devices.
