Thessaloniki: More than 250 jobs in the municipality of Neapolis – Sykeon
With the creation of another 253 new jobs, within the framework of the Community Service program and the program 55-67 (Near the Pension), the municipality of Neapolis-Sykeon continues its struggle and its interventions to address the major social problem of unemployment.
“The problem of unemployment, which strongly affects young people, but also a large percentage of vulnerable social groups (women, the elderly, the disabled, the addicts, etc.), is the biggest thorn in the side that we must eradicate with coordinated actions. The new cycle of active interventions of the municipality is marked by the program of Community Service, in which 145 jobs of 49 different specialties and four levels of education were approved (HR, DE, PE, TE). The program concerns Unemployed people registered in the OAED unemployment registers, aged 18 and over, can submit an application until Friday, March 18, 2022 at 11 a.m. The submission is made through the Unified Digital Portal of the Greek State gov.gr (www.gov.gr) and the link HERE. Conditions-statements
Right to submit electronic applications for participation in the process of compiling the Unemployment Ranking Scheme for the promotion of employment through public benefit programs have only the registered unemployed in the OAED unemployment registers and belong to at least one of the following categories:
1. Unemployed registered in the OAED unemployment registers, members of families in which no one works and their spouses are registered unemployed in the OAED unemployment registers,
2. Unemployed registered in the OAED unemployment registers, members of single-parent families, no one works in them,
3. Registered long-term unemployed (12 months and over) in the OAED unemployment registers,
4. Unemployed graduates of universities, universities and technology, registered in the OAED unemployment registers, to fill positions based on their formal qualifications,
5. Unemployed registered in the OAED unemployment registers over 29 years old,
6. Registered in the registers of unemployed disabled people of OAED,
7. Unemployed beneficiaries of “Minimum Guaranteed Income”, registered in the OAED unemployment register,
8. Unemployed adults who continue to live (after reaching adulthood) in Child Protection and Care Units, registered in the National Register of Minors after the issuance of relevant certificates by the National Center for Social Solidarity (EKKA).

Near Pension (55-67)

The program, which is operated by OAED, will open next month. It should be noted that in the two previous phases of the program the municipality of Neapolis-Sykea hired 134 employees of 22 different specialties.
“This is a very critical and useful program for our unemployed couriers who are on the verge of retirement and are unable, due to their age, to meet the conditions..
