“Foggia man to beat, he has a little more. I’m aiming for the Top3”
He starts with high-ranking ambitions Riccardo Rossi, new top driver of Sic58 Squadra Corse. That he has already identified the man to beat but who, at the same time, is a candidate for the fight at the top: “Certainly, dfter the tests we have already seen that Foggia is the man to beat, so my goal is to go after him. Foggia in my opinion this year is a little step ahead of everyone, then we are all more or less there. The championship will be of a high level, we have set very fast times in all the circuits where we have tested. For sure there will be a lot of work to be done, but in my opinion I’m in the right place and at the right time to be in front. My final goal is the top3, but in the first races I expect to stay in the top5. Because you have to think that this year there are 21 races, it will be a marathon, not a sprint. So if you win the first race and then go down it’s useless, You have to start looking further ahead, show that you are there, and then think about starting to win as many races as possible to stay ahead of the World Cup“.
Positive feelings also for the confirmed Lorenzo Fellon, who aims to take advantage of the difficulties of his debut season: “To be the ones I learned so much last year. I learned to work professionally, I learned to fight, because Moto3 is a very competitive class. I am also happy because in moments you can only last to grow, having had a complicated season can have positive implications, I hope to treasure all the mistakes I made in the last season in order to be daring in the next one. I think it can be a good season for me and Riccardo, the team is now very competitive, my feeling on the bike has improved a lot and I myself have grown, as a rider and have greater awareness. I have to try to improve at the start, to avoid compromising the first part of the race. And I have to be more aggressive in overtaking, it’s one of the keys to getting back into the top positions“.
