EMA arrives to shake up the VO between professionals
After a year of development, the company Entre Marchands Automobiles (EMA) is launching its used vehicle transaction platform entirely dedicated to professionals. It aspires to impose itself on the market place niche with its unique approach.
EMA is a market place exclusively reserved for professionals.
The second-hand sales sector continues to inspire ideas. From February 24, 2022, you will also have to rely on Entre Marchands Automobiles (EMA), an Avignon-based company which intends to offer a market place 100% dedicated to distribution professionals.
Fruit of the imagination of Tristan Ruby, the project, which took a year to develop, concentrates the founder’s experience in the automotive trade. “Coming from the automotive world and more particularly from trade, I quickly realized that this environment lacked a platform where automotive professionals can come together to buy and sell vehicles exclusively between car dealers.“, explains his motivation.

Indeed, to the well-known platforms which generally belong to purchasing groups wishing to widen their radius of influence, the EMA opposes an agnostic virtual space, a kind of infomediary service to which individuals do not have access. The founder of the marketplace, who worked in particular at the RRG branch in Avignon (84) between 2016 and 2019, thinks he can thus gain the trust of large merchants, that of the most modest ones too and attract the attention of dealers or their independent agents and mechanics wishing to invest in used cars.
Billing for ad packs
On the sole condition of showing your credentials, registration is free. Then, professionals can order, individually or in batches, vehicles referenced on the platform. EMA invoices the seller and not the buyer. The chosen business model consists, in fact, of offering ad packs. The first level (Bronze Pack) allows you to put 8 ads online for 24.99 euros. The Silver Pack entitles you to 20 ads for 49.99 euros and the Gold Pack contains 50 ads for 99.99 euros.
Other functionalities are added. EMA includes a recovery assistance interface. Vehicles can thus be submitted directly to the community to guarantee the amount announced to the consumer. Then, all transactions are secured by an intermediation system. EMA blocks the amount until validated by both parties. In addition, Tristan Rubis has negotiated agreements with carriers so as to give professionals the possibility of ordering a vehicle move.

Managing in parallel with the company SRT Auto, a multi-brand sign for the purchase and sale of used vehicles in Avignon presented, as historically well supplied with Renault, Tristan Rubis will be the first member of the Entre Marchands Automobiles platform. “Our automotive experience has made us understand that timing and confidence are two essential criteriadoes he retain from his journey as a trader. EMA responds to this while providing security and peace of mind for used-vehicle professionals”, he shows himself convinced by this new service.
