BRATISLAVA. Slovakia currently has a core of fuel, oil and its own fuel. The economy minister said this after a government meeting on Wednesday Richard Sulík (SaS) in the context of the escalating conflict between Russia and Ukraine and the possible limited supply of these energy raw materials.
“In general, I can say that there is enough gas in the tanks,” Sulík said. He added that, of course, this is the situation as of February 23, the tanks are relatively empty at the end of winter.

If there is an interruption in oil supplies, Slovakia has stocks for 90 days and, according to Sulík, it is possible to transport oil in Slovakia via the southern Adria oil pipeline.
Likewise, Slovenské elektrárne currently has nuclear fuel for nuclear power plants and is taking steps to further increase fuel reserves.
