Portugal has 15 outbreaks of bird flu detected, reveals DGAV

So far, bird flu has been detected in the districts of Leiria, Lisbon, Santarém, Setúbal and Beja.
The final focus was confirmed on Saturday, in a breeding and rearing farm for breeding ducks in the parish of A-dos-Cunhados and Macieira, in the municipality of Torres Vedras.
Since the beginning of the month, four outbreaks have already been detected in this parish.
On Friday, a focus of infection had been confirmed in a home maintenance farm in Mértola, Beja district.

DGAV is a central service of direct administration of the State, with administrative autonomy.
