Streaming in Liechtenstein – the overview :: Radio.li
In 2022, everyone will no longer be watching linear television, but will be using streaming services. But what services are available in Liechtenstein and what do they offer?
The most popular provider is Netflix. You can find all sorts of things on Netflix. Be it reality shows, horror films or documentaries and biographies. Netflix is one of the more expensive streaming services in Liechtenstein. The basic package costs CHF 12.90 and offers SD quality and a stream. HD with 2 streams is available for CHF 18.90. And if you need the highest quality and 4 streams, you can pay CHF 24.90 a month for Ultra-HD.
Sky’s streaming service, called Sky Show, divides its subscriptions into two categories: you pay CHF 9.90 per month for the film package and CHF 14.90 for the series gallery. Both together cost CHF 19.90. On Sky you will find the best TV series and movies.
You still have to be patient at Disney. Disney+ launched in Liechtenstein this summer. The monthly subscription costs CHF 12.90 and allows for multiple streams. On Disney+ there is access to popular Disney series like Hannah Montana or classic Pixar films like Toy Story. The entire Marvel and Star Wars universe is also represented on Disney+.
For fans of the German private broadcaster, the streaming service RTL+ has been available for a short time. For 4.99 euros a month you get access to various RTL series such as Bachelor, Ich bin ein Star – Get me out of here or Alles Atze. A commercial runs before each episode. If you want to get rid of them and use 2 streams, you pay 7.99 euros per month. There is also a free version for the PC, which has certain limitations.
If you don’t want to spend any money, you can use the SRG streaming service called Play Suisse. Here there are mainly in-house productions from Switzerland, such as the successful series “Tschugger”. The streaming service is free and ad-free.
