Thanks to this reference time, the Monaco team set the 4th time behind the three German crews. She thus manages to temporarily climb to 5th place.

A small error in a turn, however, prevents the “red and white” bobsledders from getting even closer to the podium. This is what will drop them to 6th place at the finish line.
