Haute-Garonne: a partially burned man found dead in a car north of Toulouse
The body of a partially burned man was discovered on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday February 16 in Fonbeauzard, north of Toulouse. An investigation was opened by the gendarmerie but the hypothesis of suicide is preferred.
Sad discovery last night in a residence in Fonbeauzard, north of Toulouse. Firefighters were alerted shortly after midnight to a man who came to burn in a car. The time to intervene, the emergency services could only note the death of the 51-year-old victim.
According to the first elements of the investigation, the thesis of a suicide is privileged. This man would have already, in the past, tried several times to end his life, in particular by fire… His car was discovered in the parking lot of a residence, little affected by the fire.
The gendarmes of the Toulouse-Saint-Michel company made the findings. The criminal investigation technicians notably provided samples and various records. An investigation for “discovery of the causes of death” was opened by the prosecution.
