The Ministries of Justice of the Russian Federation and Belarus agreed to intensify work on the unification of legislation
Minister of Justice of Russia Konstantin Chuichenko noted the significant joint work of the Ministries of Justice of Russia and the Republic of Belarus to unify legislation and part of the foundations for creating the property of the Union State. This work is carried out in the performance of the “Main Representatives of the Representatives of the Representatives of the Treaty on the Meeting of the Union of States for 2021-2023”, approved on November 4 last year by the Presidents of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.
The statement was made during the seventeenth meeting of the Joint Board of the Ministry of Justice of the States Members of the Union of States, which was held in the format of a videoconference.
In turn, the press service of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus told Interfax that the ministers of justice were interested in drawing attention to the issues considered at meetings of the collegium on the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens. “During the meeting, a decision was made to intensify work on harmonizing draft international treaties between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation in the field of justice, unifying the duration of legislation within the framework of the Agreement on the State,” the press service informed.
Also, special attention was paid to the problematic issues of recognition and investigation in the execution of judicial acts in civil cases. This was reported in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Justice.
