Sports director leaves the club again
There is no rest in the club. Selcuk Coskun, who was hired as head of sport at FC Wacker Innsbruck just a few days ago, is leaving the Tyrolean again.
In addition to the open financing issues, the recent change of coach and the resignation of the board of directors, the next problem is just around the corner – the post of sports director. Coskun ended the collaboration because of “differences of opinion,” reports the Tyrolean newspaper.
In a farewell message, the 33-year-old explains the conclusion: “Hello everyone, due to various differences of opinion, I have decided to say goodbye to my area of responsibility/post. I am still convinced of each and every one of you and even more as a team. I would like to thank you all for the exciting, albeit short, time. I wish you all the best for the future and will only support you as a fan now! Greetings Selle.”
A reaction from the club is still pending. A general meeting will be held at Wacker on Wednesday, which will probably also deal with the license fee for the Bundesliga, which is due in mid-March.
