“Luxembourg has always been reactive and pragmatic”
Why associate your brand with this event?
Jean Nicolas Montrieux. – “As a real estate player, we have a close look at the different themes raised in the context of this aperitif talk, all the more so in this period of MIPIM which is traditionally an opportunity to have a reflection on the major trends that will influence our business in the coming months and years to come.
Among the four major axes that Claude Turmes and Nathalie Reuter will examine: focus on regional planning, inventory of the four sectoral plans, economic activity zones; housing, transport, landscapes; focus on the Luxembourg 2035 master plan; the imperative of energy issues, which one is most important to you and why?
“All the themes seem important to me for the future prosperity of the country. Spatial planning must be the subject of a real strategy in order to use the available space in the most efficient way and guarantee harmonious living spaces. The theme that is most important to us is that of energy issues and respect for the environment in general. First of all, we have no choice, the planet must be preserved simply because it is unique and we risk soon reaching a point of no return. Then, in addition to its virtues, we are convinced that environmental optimization is a tremendous growth opportunity for the coming years. It is all the more so since it is massively supported by the authorities, particularly within the framework of the European green deal.
For you, what will the future face of Luxembourg be?
“Luxembourg has always shown itself to be reactive and pragmatic. I hope that it will seize the opportunity of the new realities of our world by developing its territory by aiming for efficiency, with modern infrastructures and an appropriate regulatory framework, likely to “attracting the best economic actors of today and tomorrow”.
