From Corridonia to Vienna with the Form – Cronaca
Great successor of the Form at the Vienna Musikverein. Over the weekend, the Marche Philharmonic Orchestra performed in front of almost a thousand spectators in the prestigious Goldener Saal, one of the most famous and longest established concert halls, with the program entitled “Italian Sound”. Among the protagonists, also two young musicians from Corridonia: the violinist Jacopo Cacciamani and the cellist Elena Antongirolami, both “children” of the local Giovan Battista Velluti music school. Directed by maestro David Crescenzi (from Puerto Rico), accompanied on stage by pianist Lorenzo Di Bella (from Civitanova), the Form performed pieces by Cimarosa, Rossini and Chopin, as well as the “Italian” symphony by Felix Mendelssohn-Barthody. The songs enchanted the audience in the temple of European music, which asked for several encores and spared no applause. An extraordinary experience, but also an indelible milestone for the whole region, whose cultural identity has been brought to the international limelight by a form that, never as on this occasion, has truly turned out to be the “soundtrack for the Marche”.
