Toulouse Métropole calls for exemptions for certain vehicles
At the last council of Toulouse Metropolis this Thursday, February 10, elected officials called on parliamentarians to provide derogations for certain vehicles Crit’air 3 as part of the implementation of EPZLow Emission Zones.
The appeal, formulated through a wish adopted by elected metropolitan officialsasks “during a future parliamentary session, to open a discussion in order torefine the device and pay particular attention to the Crit’Air 3 vehicles, which have been held for a long time and whoseuse is extremely limited“
A problem raised during the consultations
The question then arises of the definition of the “extremely limited use” referred to here. How is it defined? Does it concern the collectible vehicles ? Contacted by The Independent OpinionToulouse Métropole replies that it will be up to parliamentarians to define these terms.
“During the two consultations that have been avoided on the subject of the ZFE, this is a point that has been brought up to us: how relevant is it toincur purchase costs for users who use a Crit’air 3 vehicle little?”, we explain on the side of the urban community.
