Sanitary napkins at airports – Only major airport without sanitary napkins
– Avinor relates to the Norwegian authorities’ repeal of the sanitary napkin order, so that we reflect what applies to Norwegian society in general, says press officer Erik Lødding at Avinor to Flysmart24.
Both Sweden and Denmark, like Norway, have removed most of the corona measures, while Finland is in the process of doing the same.
In Sweden, a recommendation to wear a face mask at Arlanda Airport applies, while in the other countries it is mandatory. The authority in Denmark refers to a recommendation from the European Organization for Aviation Safety, Easa.
Ullensaker municipality, where Oslo Airport is located, has been in contact with the Norwegian Directorate of Health, which has confirmed that the repeal of the sanitary napkin order in Norway also applies to the main airport.
Also among the airlines, the face masks have been removed or are on their way out. The company Fly removed the entire order on Sunday, while Norwegian then removed it for travel in Scandinavia. SAS will lift the order in Scandinavia as of Tuesday.
