San Marino. Culture, Secretary of State meeting with the Minister of the United Arab Emirates
“The stay in the United Arab Emirates of the Secretary of State for Education and Culture, the University and Scientific Research, the Youth Policies of the Republic of San Marino Andrea Belluzzi on the occasion of the celebrations of the National Day of San Marino at Expo Dubai 2020, continued with today’s meeting in Abu Dhabi with the Emirati Minister of Culture and Youth His Excellency Noura Al Kaabi ”.
This was announced by a press release from the Secretariat of State for Culture. “Welcomed in an atmosphere of sincere cordiality, Secretary Belluzzi first of all wanted to thank His Excellency Al Kaabi, on his behalf and on behalf of the entire San Marino government, for the assistance that the Emirates are reserving to our country in participating in Expo Dubai 2020. He continued the meeting by illustrating the path to enhance the San Marino culture through the implementation of three recently renovated museums and through the development and growth of the university. He referred to the cultural and architectural project of the muse pole in collaboration with important ready managers of Italian culture such as the Director of the Uffizi in Florence and the Director of the Fenice in Venice, a project that Belluzzi said: ‘I would love to, as soon as he owes you and to UAE institutions to evaluate the possibility and explore every possible opportunity to dedicate an area of the pole to expressions of Islamic culture. ‘
The two Ministers then discussed the possibility of countries to undertake a path that leads to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding that creates a bridge between the two to initiate cultural exchanges on the sidelines of which to create agreements between cultural institutions such as universities. .
‘I hope that interministerial agreements can be reached between our countries to create and develop exchange programs between artists, students and young Emiratis and San Marino citizens,’ Belluzzi told Al Kaabi. “I hope that opportunities for loans may arise between the institutions of our culture and, exchanges between museums, exhibitions of Arab artists in San Marino and San Marino artists in the United Arai Emirates.”
Minister Al Kaabi expressed a strong and sincere appreciation for the history of our country, for our culture, our traditions and the way we live them and said she was very interested in intensifying relations and contamination between the Emirates and San Marino, ensuring full availability on his part in this regard.
Belluzzi and Al Kaabi met at the Venice Biennale next April where the Minister will be happy to visit the San Marino Pavilion.
